Summary

Machine-generated summary

The State Office for Roads, Bridges and Waters (Landesbetrieb Straßen, Brücken und Gewässer) intends to raise the Pollhorn main dike on Wilhelmsburg, a Hamburg Elbe island, along the Reiherstieg. The section concerned is about 1000 m long, from dike kilometre 18+655 to 19+700. It is an earth dike with a clay covering and sand core; its crest height, currently between 7.91 and 8.30 m NHN, will be raised uniformly under the new flood protection programme, including space for a precautionary measure. Services are divided into three successive stages covering HOAI service phases 2 to 6, from preliminary design to preparation of tendering. The full project must be delivered as a BIM project, including model based planning variants, quantities and costs, plus coordination with neighbours, owners and affected institutions.
