The State of Lower Saxony intends to commission planning services for a replacement building for the North German Forest Research Institute (NW-FVA) in Goettingen and the conversion of the existing laboratory building into a purely administrative building. The new Building 1 will provide modern laboratory space; integration of the existing basement is to be examined before demolition. Laboratory operations in Building 2 must continue throughout construction until the new building is commissioned. Construction costs for the new and conversion works are capped at 40 million EUR gross, including VAT.

Description

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €430,000
€331,100 to €442,900

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 97% of their published estimate, half of them between 77% and 103%, based on 716 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
