Geothermie Graefelfing GmbH & Co. KG (GGK) is procuring a drilling contractor as part of its plans to build a deep geothermal plant for municipal heat supply in Graefelfing, Germany. The project aims to tap the Malm reservoir and includes planning, building and operating a deep geothermal plant plus a district heating network with a redundancy and peak-load heating plant. Four geothermal deep boreholes are planned, two doublets each with one production and one injection well, drilled from a shared drilling site, along with a technical building. One doublet will serve as independent redundancy and peak-load capacity to guarantee a fully CO2-free heat supply. Site: Neurieder Weg 1, parcel 180/0, district 8673 Graefelfing.
