Summary

Machine-generated summary

The University of Hamburg, acting as central contracting authority on behalf of HAW Hamburg, awarded a negotiated procedure without prior call for competition for research and development services within the RealBat joint project. The project, 'Efficient operation of wind turbines through real-time protection for bats', aims to advance the blanket shutdowns currently used to protect bats into an adaptive shutdown algorithm that stops turbines only when there is a real collision risk. The contract was awarded to OekoFor GmbH on 2026-10-01 for EUR 376,640. The awarded price matched the estimated value within 1%. HAW Hamburg becomes the contracting party and client upon award.
