Summary

Machine-generated summary

Universität Hamburg, one of the largest research and teaching institutions in northern Germany with over 40,000 students and around 12,000 staff, is seeking a company to provide qualified event managers for events held in its buildings and outdoor areas, such as conferences, exhibitions and scientific lectures, including events staged by third parties with a mainly science-related focus. The event managers will represent the university as building operator on site and temporarily take over operator duties under §38 VStättVo, and the company will advise university bodies on planning safety measures. A framework contract according to §21 VgV is planned, running 12 months from 1 December 2026 with three optional 12-month extensions, up to 48 months in total. Annual volume is estimated, without commitment, at 1,000 deployment hours, around 70% delivered by higher-qualified event managers (master craftspersons or certified event management professionals), with a maximum total of 6,000 hours over the full term.
