Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Energy and Climate seeks an external service provider to prepare, run and follow up pedestrian traffic checks in 20 selected municipalities in Rhineland-Palatinate, with ten municipalities taking part each year in 2027 and 2028, chosen through a competition. Each check is a dialogue-based, participatory format in which citizens, administration and politicians discuss walking conditions over several sessions, centred on two guided walking inspections per municipality to record strengths and weaknesses in the pedestrian network, followed by a plan of measures to remedy the shortcomings. Checks may be held under a specific theme such as quality of life or crossings.
