Summary

Machine-generated summary

KlinikumRegionHannover GmbH (KRH) intends to put Building B of Klinikum Nordstadt into operation. Following an acute water damage incident shortly before the originally planned commissioning in 2013 and comprehensive remediation, the pollutant-free completion of which was confirmed in 2020, the rubber floor coverings were almost entirely removed. The works comprise complete milling off of the old levelling compound and adhesive residues from the cement screed, preparatory treatment and rebuilding of the floor structure, filling and grinding in several passes, and the supply and installation of a new polyurethane floor covering in sheet form in several colours for patient rooms, staff and work areas, and corridors. Remaining rubber areas will be renewed according to a new colour concept. Skirtings are made from the same material as a hollow cove rising approx. 10 cm up walls and furniture plinths. The overall project is subject to tight scheduling.
