Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer is restoring the so-called Moorish Kiosk in Linderhof Palace park in Germany, the oldest surviving exhibition building from 1867. Roughly 9 m by 9 m with a central dome about 12 m high, it has a cast iron frame, timber infill and about 2,000 ornamental bronze, zinc and cast iron facade plates, painted and gilded. The works cover full restoration of all envelope elements and structural parts, repair of damage, structural strengthening and repainting, plus preventive protection measures. Work proceeds in roughly four phases, with facade panels dismantled in autumn, restored in the workshop and remounted the following summer. Overlapping this, roof restoration lasts two years under temporary scaffolding, together with the staircase and damaged retaining wall plaster.

Description

Schlossbesitz Linderhof, Maurischer Kiosk Instandsetzung von Dach und Fassaden Hier: Instandsetzung Blechdach inkl. Nachguss Im Schlosspark Linderhof von Schloss Linderhof wird der sog. Maurische Kiosk Instand gesetzt.
