Description

Entwicklung und der Fertigung zweier schneller Halbleiter-Gapschalter auf Basis von Siliziumcarbid-Technologie (SiC), Ihr Einsatzgebiet ist das Kurzschließen von Hochfrequenzkavitäten in den Synchrotron- und Speicherringen bei GSI und FAIR für die Impedanzreduktion während des Strahlbetriebs mit hohen Intensitäten Schrittweise Entwicklung des Schalters und fertigung zweier Prototypen gemäß Spezifikation. Der vorgeschlagene Terminplan wird in gemeinsamer Abstimmung finalisiert. Jeder Schalter soll zusammengesetzt sein aus zwei getrennten SiC-Moduleinheiten (je ein Modul-Stapel für jede Gap-Hälfte der Kavität) und einer eigenen Ansteuer- und Stromversorgungseinheit. Die SiC-Moduleinheiten werden im Beschleunigertunnel als Teil der Gap-Peripherie der Hochfrequenzkavitäten eingesetzt werden. Sie müssen hohe Spannungen, hohe Ströme und eine hohe Strahlenexposition aushalten können. Die Schalter werden in den Beschleunigeranlagen während der Strahlzeit im Dauerbetrieb eingesetzt werden. Da bei diesen Beschleunigeranlagen eine hohe Verfügbarkeit aller technischen Systeme verlangt wird, werden hohe Anforderungen an die Langzeitstabilität der Schalter und an die Qualität der verwendeten Bauteile gestellt, inklusive State-of-the-Art-Lösungen für Spannungsversorgung, mechanische Integration, Hochfrequenzeigenschaften, elektrische Sicherheit, Kühlung und thermisches Management und elektromagnetische Kompatibilität
