The contract covers planning and construction of a new school building for the Gymnasium Grossburgwedel in Germany, with about 9,600 m2 gross floor area plus landscaping of about 16,500 m2 of the site. Around 11,060 m2 of existing buildings must be demolished. The new building includes modern classrooms, science rooms, administration and common areas, a new schoolyard, and a new assembly hall also usable by the contracting authority. Before works begin, the contractor must provide temporary container classrooms of about 2,000 m2 and a permanent multifunctional building of about 730 m2, plus relocation management. After completion, maintenance services are required for an extended warranty period of 10 or 5 years.
