Summary

Machine-generated summary

The railway overpass on line 4000 at km 205.091 crossing the Reutebachgasse in Freiburg im Breisgau will be renewed in 2027. The structure will be widened to a new clear width of 9.00 m, using auxiliary bridges. Two total closures are planned on the Gundelfingen - Freiburg Hbf section. During the first, roughly one-week closure in June 2027, the existing WIB superstructure and part of the abutment will be dismantled, temporary works and foundations for the auxiliary bridges built, and the auxiliary bridges installed. Between the closures, around 12 in-situ bored piles, foundations, abutments and retaining walls will be built (about 460 m3 of concrete). The new WIB superstructures and edge beams (about 36 tonnes of rolled girders and roughly 120 m3 of concrete) will be built at raised level on falsework. In the second, roughly five-day closure in October 2027, the auxiliary bridges will be removed and the WIB superstructures slid in, with noise barriers added. The City of Freiburg will build the road works on the Reutebachgasse afterwards.
