Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), through its Space institute's Measurement and Instrumentation Systems division, invites tenders for the delivery of a desktop Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The instrument will be used in the Destructive Physical Analysis laboratory for topography imaging and chemical analysis of metallographic samples, mainly non-conductive, mechanically polished epoxy moulds with cross-sectioned electronics components. DTU requires a compact, robust and stable instrument, ready to work 24/7, easy to run after short training and without demanding maintenance. Estimated value, submission deadline and procedure type are not stated in the notice. Suppliers of electron microscopy equipment may bid according to the conditions given in the tender documents.

Description

DTU requires delivery of a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The Measurement and Instrumentation Systems division at DTU Space wants to purchase a SEM for topography imaging and chemical analysis of metallographic samples. The SEM will be a part of the Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) laboratory, thus the majority of the samples will be non-conductive mechanically polished epoxy moulds with cross-sectioned electronics components and assemblies. A compact, robust, stable, ready to work 24/7 without state-of-the-arts maintenance, easy to run after short training SEM would fulfil our expectations.
