Northern Gas Networks Limited awarded a contract directly to Arqiva Limited for the continued provision of a telemetry system and support services. The contract covered ongoing operational telecommunications, telemetry network services, technical support, monitoring, maintenance and related services needed to support the safe and reliable operation of critical operational infrastructure. It also included associated infrastructure improvements and security support services to maintain service continuity during the contract term. The arrangement extended and modified an existing operational service contract and ensured continuity of service while Northern Gas Networks progressed its longer-term communications strategy.
