Description

This contract appoints a single supplier to supply laboratory scale equipment to support UKNNL's powder capability Research and Development (R&D) work under the HALEU Deconversion Project, funded by DESNZ. UKNNL requires support on the design and manufacture of four pieces of laboratory scale equipment/technologies: • Hopper • Screwfeeder • Vibratory Feeder • Rotary Barrel The appointed supplier is required to complete the design of these four pieces of equipment in line with this specification, and the manufacture of this equipment once the design is approved by UKNNL. All equipment must be designed and manufactured in line with the UKNNL requirements, the Springfield Site Standards and any National/International Standards which are deemed to apply. The contract will have an optional extension beyond the initial design and manufacture to support any upgrades to the equipment to support the on-going experimental programme.
