Hankinnan kohteena oli FinnHEMS Oy:n ja FinnHEMS lentopalvelut Oy:n (yhdessä "FinnHEMS") perustietotekniikkapalvelut. Hankittavat palvelut sisältävät työasemapalveluja, kapasiteettipalveluja, yritysverkko- ja tietotekniikkapalveluja sekä erilaisia tukipalveluja. Lisäksi hankitaan muita palveluja kuten esimerkiksi tulostimien- ja lisenssien hallintaa sekä tietoturvapalveluja. Tarkemmat vaatimukset ja kuvaukset hankittavista palveluista löytyvät tarjouspyynnön liitteistä. FinnHEMS hankkii kaikki ICT-peruspalveluihin liittyvät edellä kuvatut operatiiviset palvelut yhdeltä palveluntarjoajalta. Tarjouspyynnössä esitetyt hankintamäärät ovat arvioita, eikä sopimus muodosta tilaajalle määräostovelvoitetta tai palveluntarjoajalle yksinoikeutta tuottaa palvelua.
