Hankinnan kohteena on Finavia Oyj:n lentoasemille asennettavat näyttömonitorit (”Näytöt”), joita hankitaan puitejärjestelyn aikana (optiovuodet mukaan lukien) tämän hetkisen arvion mukaan noin 1000-2000 kappaletta. Näyttöjä tilataan sopimuskauden aikana Tilaajan tarpeen mukaisesti, eikä ilmoitetut määrät ole sitovia. Hankittavien Näyttöjen koot ja Näyttöjä koskevat vaatimukset vaihtelevat toimituskohteen mukaisesti. Hankinnassa Finavia kilpailuttaa puitejärjestelyn, johon valitaan kaksi (2) toimittajaa. Puitejärjestely ei muodosta Finavialle määräostovelvoitetta ja kaikista puitejärjestelyn sisäisistä hankinnoista järjestetään minikilpailutus puitejärjestelykumppanien kesken. Hankinnat tehdään kulloinkin minikilpailutuksen voittaneen kumppanin kautta minikilpailutuksessa annettujen hintojen mukaisesti. Tässä hankintamenettelyssä kilpailutettavat hinnat ovat siten ns. maksimihintoja, joita ei voida ylittää minikilpailutuksissa. Puitejärjestely on voimassa ensin määräaikaisena kaksi (2) vuotta, jonka jälkeen Finavialla on oikeus jatkaa puitejärjestelyä yhteensä kuuden (6) optiovuoden ajan. Optiot otetaan käyttöön yksi (1) optiovuosi kerrallaan. Hankintamenettely on avoin menettely ja menettelyssä käytetään sähköistä huutokauppaa. Menettelyn kulku ml. sähköinen huutokauppa on kuvattu tarkemmin liitteessä "Hankintamenettelyn kulku ja sähköinen huutokauppa".
