Tampereen kaupunkiseudun elinkeino- ja kehitysyhtiö Business Tampere Oy kilpailuttaa talous-, palkka- ja henkilöstöhallinnon palvelut sekä palveluiden tuottamisessa tarvittavat tietojärjestelmät. Hankinta toteutetaan Business Tampere Oy:n toimeksiannosta, ja hankintamenettelystä vastaa Tuomi Logistiikka Oy. Hankinnan tavoitteena on valita yksi kokonaisvastuullinen toimittaja, joka tuottaa tilaajalle talous- ja henkilöstöhallinnon palvelut, palkanlaskennan sekä niitä tukevat järjestelmäratkaisut yhtenäisenä palvelukokonaisuutena. Hankintaan sisältyvät myös palveluiden käyttöönotto, tarvittavat tietojen siirrot sekä jatkuvat ylläpito- ja tukipalvelut. Sopimus on voimassa toistaiseksi. Tavoitteena on pitkäjänteinen yhteistyö toimittajan kanssa sekä palveluiden ja järjestelmien kehittäminen tilaajan tarpeiden mukaisesti. Hankintaa ei ole jaettu osiin, koska hankinnan kohteena oleva kokonaisuus muodostaa toiminnallisesti ja teknisesti yhtenäisen palvelukokonaisuuden, jota ei ole tarkoituksenmukaista jakaa pienempiin osiin.
