Kymenlaakson liitto on Kymenlaakson kolmen kaupungin ja kolmen kunnan muodostama lakisääteinen kuntayhtymä (maakunnan liitto), jonka kieli on suomi. Lisätietoa Kymenlaakson liitosta löytyy myös verkkosivuilta: www.kymenlaakso.fi Tällä hetkellä liitossa työskentelee 22 henkilöä ja noin 50 luottamushenkilöä, joista jälkimmäisille maksetaan palkkiota ja muita korvauksia neljännesvuosittain. Liiton toiminta jakaantuu aluekehityksen, aluesuunnittelun kansainvälisten asioiden, hallinnon ja talouden sekä kesäyliopiston vastuualueisiin. Liiton vuosibudjetti on noin kolme miljoonaa euroa ja lisäksi liiton kirjanpidon kautta kulkee kansallisia kehittämisrahoja erisuuruisia määriä, riippuen miten valtio (TEM) myöntää liitoille varoja alueiden kehittämistoimiin. Hankinnan kohteena on Kymenlaakson liiton 1.henkilöstön ja luottamushenkilöiden palkkahallinnon kokonaispalvelu. 2.kirjanpidon, osto- ja myyntireskontran, matkalaskujen ja pankkiliikenteen kokonaispalvelu. Kaikki palvelut ja järjestelmät tulee tuottaa suomenkielellä.
