Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Zurich Transport Network (ZVV) operates several digital sales channels, including the ZVV app, the ZVV online ticket shop and other web-based systems for telephone and self-service sales. Passengers buy tickets in these channels using various digital payment methods, including TWINT, whose use and transaction volume have grown continuously. The contract covers acquiring services for TWINT payments in remote sales through these digital channels, in particular the contractual acceptance, processing and settlement of the payments. Payment service providing is not part of the procurement; the current payment service provider of the ZVV is Datatrans. The services start on 1 January 2027 and are awarded through a public tender under the applicable procurement law.
