Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer is commissioning the construction of a new primary school building, Allmend, for grades 1 to 6 in Switzerland. The four-storey building will be built in conventional timber construction on the school grounds, replacing the existing outdoor sports ground ('Roter Platz'). The structure is a solid timber skeleton of fir/spruce with three reinforced concrete service cores and concrete spiral staircases, plus prefabricated timber facade elements. The site requires pile foundations, and two separate groundwater layers must be considered. Flood protection meets HQ300 requirements. The building is to be certified to SNBS 2.1 with a Gold target and is supplied by the SeeEnergy district heating network, with underfloor heating, a concrete floor finish and a roof-integrated photovoltaic system.
