Die Bodensee-Arena ist eine bedeutende Sport-, Freizeit- und Veranstaltungsanlage der Region Kreuzlingen-Konstanz. Die seit 1978 bestehende und mehrfach erweiterte Anlage weist umfassenden baulichen, technischen und betrieblichen Erneuerungsbedarf auf. Die Stadt Kreuzlingen plant die Sanierung der bestehenden Anlage und die Einhausung des heutigen Ausseneisfeldes zu einer Trainingshalle. Die bestehende Bausubstanz soll soweit technisch und wirtschaftlich sinnvoll weiterverwendet werden. Die Realisierung erfolgt etappiert unter Berücksichtigung des laufenden Betriebs. Mit dem Volksentscheid vom 28. September 2025 wurde der Investitionskredit von CHF 26.7 Mio. bewilligt. Dieser bildet die verbindliche finanzielle Obergrenze des Gesamtprojekts. Die Planung ist konsequent nach dem Design-to-Cost-Prinzip zu entwickeln. Im Rahmen eines selektiven Leistungsoffertverfahrens mit Präqualifikation (Phase 1) und anschliessendem Angebot (Phase 2) wird ein qualifiziertes Bauingenieurbüro für die Tragwerksplanung in Holz- und Massivbauweise gesucht. Die Bewerbung ist auch als Team aus Bauingenieurbüros mit sich ergänzenden Kompetenzen im Holz- und Massivbau möglich. Dabei übernimmt ein federführendes Büro die Verantwortung für die Koordination und die Gesamtleistung innerhalb des Mandats. Das Mandat umfasst die Leistungen gemäss SIA 103 für die Phasen 31-53, von der Projektierung bis zur Inbetriebnahme. Besondere Herausforderungen bilden die unterschiedlichen bestehenden Trag- und Fundationsstrukturen, die anspruchsvollen Baugrundverhältnisse sowie die Integration der neuen Trainingshalle. Gesucht sind wirtschaftliche Lösungen für den Erhalt und die Weiterentwicklung des Bestands sowie für die neuen Tragkonstruktionen und Fundationen, abgestimmt auf Etappierung, Bauzustände und die weiteren Fachplanungen.
