Renovation of suspended ceilings in lecture halls

Renovation works to replace existing heating and cooling ceilings in several stepped lecture halls, namely HS 012-013, HS 054-056, HS 110 and the Audimax on the ground and first floors, plus meeting room 301 on the third floor. The work is planned in two phases: the first in the 2022 summer holidays (about 544 m2) and the second in the 2023 summer holidays (about 540 m2). Each phase covers protection of floors and furnishings, scaffolding, demolition of the existing ceilings, electrical and plumbing installation work, some painting, assembly of the new ceilings, dismantling, cleaning and commissioning before teaching resumes on 2 October. A restricted direct award applies: at least three companies are invited to bid, the first five respondents to the notice are invited, documents are shared via an e-procurement platform, and the five cheapest bids are reviewed with clarification meetings.
