The Penitentiary with Maximum Security Regime Iasi in Romania awarded a framework agreement for the supply of various food products intended for feeding persons deprived of liberty. The procurement covered 23 lots, including pork carcass halves, poultry meat, meat products such as summer salami, village sausages and chicken frankfurters, smoked bacon, bread, cheeses, cow milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, processed cheese, chicken liver pate, garlic, salt, flavour enhancers, spices such as bay leaves, thyme, pepper and paprika, hen eggs, fresh apples and powdered bors. The winners were GELAS MEDIA, STEDYAN COM, ILVAS, CARPATIS, NICBAC PROD, AMARIEI G. PETRU, DIACARN FOOD, VASCAR S.A., OLYMEL FLAMINGO FOOD S.R.L., ROCAS FDS S.R.L. and PARHAN COM S.R.L. The awarded value was about EUR 250,364.82, converted from RON at the ECB reference rate.
