Description

La linea ferroviaria FLP fornisce un servizio di trasporto pubblico tra le due stazioni principali di Ponte Tresa e di Lugano, tra le quali sono presenti dieci fermate intermedie, e si sviluppa per circa 12.3 km in un contesto urbano. La ferrovia è di tipo a scartamento metrico a singolo binario, con zone puntuali a doppio binario per permettere lo scambio tra treni. Lungo tutta la tratta il binario appoggia su massicciata, e vi sono traversine di diverso tipo: legno, acciaio e beton. La linea aerea di contatto che assicura la corrente di trazione ai treni è a 1'200 V DC. La tratta FLP compresa tra la stazione di Magliaso Paese e il Vallone necessita, a causa di vetustà generica, di un rinnovo completo della sotto e soprastruttura ferroviaria. L’intervento di rifacimento: - Comprende Il rinnovo della sottostruttura fino al piano di posa, la posa di uno strato di sbarramento bituminoso AC Rail, la sostituzione della soprastruttura con posa nuove traversine in beton, la posa di un nuovo canale cavi tipo 23 SBB lato Nord e delle relative camere, la posa di un drenaggio per gli impianti ferroviari, la realizzazione del camminamento (banchina) e degli spazi di fuga necessari. - Non comprende Interventi sulla linea di contatto e i suoi pali LC, gli impianti elettromeccanici esistenti (impianti di scurezza IS ed eventuali impianti semaforici) i quali verranno puntualmente rimossi per essere riposizionati a lavori terminati. - Riserve del Committente FLP SA si riserva il diritto di non procedere al rinnovo del binario fra il km 9'267.696 e il PL Magliaso Paese. Il perimetro di intervento sulla tratta ferroviaria è delimitato dai seguenti limiti opera: - Lato Ovest: km 9'433 a ridosso del PL Magliaso Paese - Lato Est: km 8’975 ca. in corrispondenza del palo LC 281 (quest’ultimo escluso).
