Summary

Machine-generated summary

Helse Bergen HF, through its Breast and Endocrine Department, is seeking tenders for one NIR (near-infrared) autofluorescence system for detecting the parathyroid glands. The equipment must enable intraoperative autofluorescence to identify and localise the parathyroid glands during endocrine neck surgery, helping surgeons visualise glands that are small, atypically located or hard to distinguish from surrounding tissue. It complements standard surgical technique in thyroid surgery, central lymph node procedures in thyroid cancer and parathyroid surgery, aiming to preserve the glands and their blood supply and support safer dissection. An option covers a service agreement with different service levels and training courses for medical technical personnel. Details are set out in Annex 2, the requirement specification and competition provisions.
