Description

Op grond van de Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning (Wmo 2015) is de Gemeente verantwoordelijk ervoor te zorgen dat Cliënten die beperkingen ondervinden in hun zelfredzaamheid en maatschappelijke participatie, passende ondersteuning krijgen om dit te compenseren. In het kader van deze aanbesteding is de gemeente voornemens Logeeropvang als bedoeld in de Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning (Wmo 2015) in te kopen. Logeeropvang, als ontlasting van de mantelzorger, is een dienst aanvullende ondersteuning Wmo die Amsterdammers en hun mantelzorger(s) ondersteuning biedt op het vlak van zelf- en samenredzaamheid en maatschappelijke participatie. Logeeropvang is respijtzorg met als doel het voorkomen en verminderen van de overbelasting van mantelzorgers in Amsterdam, op een manier die aansluit bij de behoefte van mantelzorgers en de persoon voor wie zij zorgdragen. De Amsterdammer gaat logeren, zodat zijn/haar mantelzorger(s) tijdelijk ontlast wordt/worden. De ondersteuning die de Amsterdammer thuis nodig heeft en ontvangt wordt geboden op de logeerlocatie. Het gaat om tijdelijk verblijf in een (zorg)organisatie. De gemeente is alleen verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van het verblijf en de daaraan verbonden kosten, inclusief dagactiviteiten en begeleiding. Wat er verder eventueel nodig is aan verzekerde zorg (verpleging, persoonlijke verzorging) valt buiten deze inkoop en moet in voorkomende gevallen apart via de Zorgverzekeringswet (Zvw) geregeld worden.
