De waterschappen Rijn & IJssel, Vallei & Veluwe, Vechtstromen en Zuiderzeeland zetten met deze marktconsultatie in op het verkrijgen van een breed en representatief inzicht in de actuele en toekomstige ontwikkelingen binnen de markt op het gebied van duurzaamheid. Daarnaast willen de waterschappen een beter beeld vormen van de kansen en uitdagingen die marktpartijen hierbij ervaren. Hierbij ligt de nadruk op het beperken van emissies bij de uitvoering van werkzaamheden. Het convenant Schoon en Emissieloos Bouwen is daarbij belangrijk. Ook situaties buiten de scope van het convenant, waarbij materieel en transportmiddelen ingezet worden, zijn interessant voor deze marktconsultatie.
