Für die neue Kreuzungsstelle Lüdem auf der Linie Frauenfeld Wil wird der im Perimeter der Kreuzungsstelle Lüdem bereits bestehende Bahnübergang den neuen Begebenheiten  angepasst. Aufgrund der neuen Kreuzungsstelle und den verschiedenen Bauphasen vor der Totalsperre auf der Linie sind verschiedene Anpassungsarbeiten an den Anlagen nötig. Die vorhandene BUE- Steuerung wurde bereits durch den Lieferanten Schweizer Electronic AG erstellt und steht seit mehreren Jahren zuverlässig im Einsatz. Eine Anpassung und  Erweiterung der Anlage kann nur durch den Hersteller erfolgen, was ein Konkurrenzangebot ausschliesst. Ein kompletter Neubau inklusive provisorischer Anlage für die Bauphasen durch ein  Konkurrenzunternehmen macht auch wirtschaftlichen Überlegungen keinen Sinn.
