PRETRAŽNI ELEKTRONSKI MIKROSKOP S DETEKTORIMA ZA SEKUNDARNE I POVRATNO-RASPRŠENE ELEKTRONE, ZA ELEMENTNU ANALIZU I KATODNU LUMINISCENCIJU GRUPA 5. GAMASPEKTROMETRIJSKI SUSTAV Postupak javne nabave provodi se u sklopu projekta "Obnova infrastrukture i nabava instrumenata u Hrvatskom geološkom institutu - Geoznanstveni laboratoriji (GEOLAB)", NPOO.C3.2.R2-I2.04.0001. Detaljan opis predmeta nabave nalazi se u priloženim minimalnim tehničkim specifikacijama po grupi predmeta nabave. Maseni spektrometar s induktivno spregnutom plazmom i automatskim uzorkivačem koristi se za precizno određivanje koncentracija elemenata u širokom spektru geoloških uzoraka (krutih i tekućih). Maseni spektrometar s induktivno spregnutom plazmom se koristi samostalno (s automatskim uzorkivačem) ili povezano sa sustavom za lasersku ablaciju. U kombinaciji s automatskim uzorkivačem, analize tekućih uzoraka omogućuju brzu i ponovljivu analizu otopina stijena, tla i voda, dok povezivanje sa sustavom za lasersku ablaciju omogućuje izravnu („in situ“) elementnu analizu krutih uzoraka, poput minerala i stijena, bez potrebe za njihovim kemijskim otapanjem. Ovakva konfiguracija omogućiti će detaljnu karakterizaciju geokemijskog sastava uzoraka i praćenje prostorne raspodjele elemenata. Koristit će se u paleoklimatskim istraživanjima siga, za geokemijsku karakterizaciju stijena i minerala u petrokronološkim i petrogenetskim istraživanjima, kao i za analizu drugih geoloških materijala pri određivanju visoko-rezolucijskih varijacija u njihovu elementnom sastavu. Koristiti će se i za analizu elemenata u tragovima i teških metala u uzorcima podzemnih voda. Instrument će omogućiti visoko precizno i osjetljivo određivanje niskih koncentracija elemenata u vodenoj matrici, uz istodobnu analizu više elemenata u kratkom vremenu. Također će se primjenjivati i na druge vrste uzoraka, poput fosila i arheoloških artefakata.
