Die Vereinigung Schweizerischer Stadtgärtnereien und Gartenbauämter (VSSG) vergibt die Führung ihrer Geschäftsstelle im Rahmen eines externen Dienstleistungsmandats. Die Geschäftsstelle unterstützt den Vorstand und die weiteren Organe der VSSG bei der Erfüllung ihrer Aufgaben und stellt einen professionellen, kontinuierlichen und effizienten Betrieb sicher. Der Auftrag umfasst insbesondere die fachliche Unterstützung und Interessenvertretung , die organisatorische und administrative Unterstützung des Vorstands und der Vereinsorgane, die interne und externe Kommunikation , das Finanz- und Rechnungswesen , die allgemeine Administration sowie die Organisation und Koordination von Veranstaltungen, Arbeitsgruppen und weiteren Gremien . Dazu gehören unter anderem die Mitarbeit bei Projekten und Fachfragen, die Vorbereitung von Entscheidungsgrundlagen und Sitzungen, die Betreuung der Website und weiterer Kommunikationskanäle, die Führung der Buchhaltung und Mitgliederverwaltung sowie die organisatorische Begleitung von Veranstaltungen und externen Anspruchsgruppen. Strategische, politische und statutarische Entscheide verbleiben bei den zuständigen Organen der VSSG.
