L'atelier mécanique de Sang de serp se situe dans la Halle du 224 chemin de sang de serp. Cette halle emblématique a été construite à la fin des années 1940. L'objet de cette operation est de restructurer les ateliers mécaniques et de retrouver l'intégrité de la halle en démolissant les nombreux bâtiments adossés à ses façades. Cette opération de restructuration consiste à augmenter et faire évoluer l'activité sur le site.
