The Department of Reunion awarded framework agreements for the rental of plant machinery with drivers to maintain Departmental Roads and other departmental assets over the 2025-2029 period. The works include programmed routine maintenance and emergency operations after exceptional events, keeping the road network in good condition and users safe. The contracts cover sectors across the island, including Saint-Denis, Saint-Paul, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Benoit, Saint-Andre, Salazie, Saint-Louis, Cilaos and Entre-Deux. Ten local companies were awarded contracts, including Virapin Bertrand, SARL CLM, VOCATOUR, SARL SAMNA, SOCIETE DE TERRASSEMENT CONSTRUCTION OCEAN INDIEN and MAILLOT TRAVAUX PUBLICS TERRASSEMENT. The awarded value is EUR 3,464,000, equal to the estimated value.
