Description

Το προτεινόμενο έργο αφορά το σύνολο των οδικών έργων βελτίωσης της Εθνικής Οδού Σάμου - Καρλοβάσου για το υποτμήμα από ΕΞΟΔΟΣ "ΑΓ. ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥ" μέχρι "ΠΕΤΑΛΙΔΕΣ" (Χ.Θ. 1+883.505+490.00). Η αρχή της μελέτης (χ.θ. 1+883,50) βρίσκεται στα Δυτικά όρια του Αγ.Κων/νου και συγκεκριμένα στην διασταύρωση της παραλιακής οδού του Οικισμού με την υφιστάμενη Εθνική Οδό. Το τέλος της μελέτης (χ.θ. 5+490,00) βρίσκεται πριν από τον Οικισμό Πεταλίδες. Η οδός αποτελεί τμήμα μήκους 3.600μ. περίπου της Εθνικής Οδού που συνδέει την Σάμο με το Καρλόβασι. Η προαναφερθείσα Ε.Ο πέραν του ότι εξυπηρετεί τις δύο μεγαλύτερες πόλεις της Νήσου Σάμου, εξυπηρετεί και παραθαλάσσιους οικισμούς που τους θερινούς μήνες έχουν τουρισμό. Συνεπώς η βελτίωση αναβάθμιση ενός τμήματος που ανήκει στο Εθνικό Δίκτυο και έχει ιδιαίτερα δυσχερή χάραξη είναι επιβεβλημένη για λόγους ασφαλείας της κυκλοφορίας, βελτίωσης του επιπέδου εξυπηρέτησης των ντόπιων και των παραθεριστών αλλά και πρόσθετης ανάπτυξης της άμεσης και ευρύτερης περιοχής μιας ακριτικής νήσου. Επιπλέον προβλέπεται η βελτίωση διαπλάτυνση τμήματος της εθνικής οδού πριν από τον Οικισμό του Αγ.Κωνσταντίνου. Το τμήμα που βελτιώνεται έχει μήκος 412,25μ. συμπεριλαμβανομένης
