Για την αντιμετώπιση, είναι απαραίτητο να ληφθούν άμεσα μέτρα προστασίας του παραλιακού δρόμου ώστε να είναι ασφαλής. Θα προβλεφθούν εργασίες ανακατασκευής της υφιστάμενης θωράκισης εργασίες τοποθέτησης λίθων και ογκολίθων για προστασία και ενίσχυση των ευπαθών τμημάτων του παραλιακού μετώπου έναντι μελλοντικής διάβρωσης, καθώς και τεχνικά έργα απορροής για την ανεμπόδιστη εκβολή των υδάτων.
