Summary
Machine-generated summaryThis tender covers the supply of flight model capacitors for the GRACE-C Earth observation satellite mission. GRACE-C is a replacement for the GRACE-FO mission, which in turn replaced GRACE, a two-satellite mission flying about 200 km apart at 500 km altitude to map the Earth's gravity field with unprecedented accuracy by precisely measuring the distance between the two spacecraft. GRACE-C will model the gravity field at the accuracy already achieved by GRACE-FO and deliver global climate data during a five-year mission. The capacitors procured here are used in the photo receiver and the backend amplifier, subsystems of the Laser Ranging Interferometer (LRI).
