Summary

Machine-generated summary

Planning services for the complete electrification of railway line 3611 between Friedrichsdorf (Taunus) and Friedberg in Hesse, closing an approximately 14.5 km gap in the electrified network of Region Mitte. The line will serve as a diversion route during the general renovation of the Frankfurt node, particularly for the RE line Frankfurt - Kassel, with diversion possible from 2027. Work includes overhead contact line masts about every 50 m, ramming pile foundations, wire installation, use of storage areas on sealed surfaces, new feeder lines at Friedrichsdorf and Friedberg, and adaptations to 17 existing level crossings including clearance checks and track lowering measures. Planning covers overhead lines, local control units, earthing, drainage, cable civil works and electrical energy installations.
