Description

Im Zuge des Bauleitplanverfahrens ist ein Grünordungsplan seitens der Stadt gewünscht sowie die Erstellung eines Umweltberichtes erforderlich. Diese Leistungen werden mit diesem Verfahren beschafft. Das Vorhaben Trabrennbahn ist eine rd. 14 ha große Entwicklungsfläche im Norden der Stadt Mönchengladbach. Die ehemalige Trabrennbahn wurde über Jahrzehnte als Spotstätte genutzt und soll in den kommenden Jahren im Rahmen des Landesprogramms Go4Gewerbe und der Strukturförderung Rheinisches Revier zu einem innovativen, flughafenaffinen und nachhaltigen Gewerbegebiet mit großzügigen Freiflächen umgewandelt werden. Dieses formulierte Ziel findet sich in der künftigen Planung wieder, der Branchenfokus liegt auf Luftfahrttechnologie, innovativer Mobilität und MRO-Dienstleistungen (Flugzeugwartung, Reparatur und Instandhaltung). Aber auch KMU-Gewerbe sowie Forschung- und Entwicklung sind denkbar. Es wird eine Zertifizierung nach der DGNB für nachhaltige Gewerbequartiere angestrebt, sodass bei der Planung und Erschließung hohe ökologische Standards zu erfüllen sind. Es sollen Kriterien wie sparsamer Flächenverbrauch, wassersensible Planung, erneuerbare Energien, multimodale Mobilitätsangebote und hochwertige Gebäudestandards erfüllt werden. Auch die Integration von Freiraum- und Kompensationsflächen spielt eine Schlüsselrolle, um einen tatsächlichen Mehrwert für Umwelt und Gesellschaft zu schaffen.
