Klinikum Esslingen is procuring a specialised cybersecurity solution to identify, monitor and secure all networked medical devices, IoT devices and building automation components on its network. The solution must provide full visibility of connected IT and medical devices, use passive, non-invasive monitoring of critical clinical network segments without disrupting patient care, and manage vulnerabilities in medical devices according to clinical criticality and MDR EU 2017/745. It must detect network anomalies and threats in real time through network detection and response (NDR), support compliance with NIS-2, BSIG and GDPR, align with the B3S healthcare standard, and enable future integration with a planned Sophos XDR platform and SIEM.
