The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation is procuring digitisation services for the Berlin State Library (SBB) in Berlin, Germany. Lot 2 covers scanning of monographs and journals belonging to the DFG-funded project 'Koloniale Kontexte'. The supplier must scan objects without damage, create image files, produce structural data and pagination for the Kitodo.Production workflow management system. Work is delivered in batches every four weeks: collection at SBB, processing by the contractor, and return of the items. The project lasts 2.5 years with an option to extend once by one year. The estimated volume is 11,000 volumes averaging 250 pages, totalling 2,750,000 pages. The procedure is divided into two lots.
