SWM Services GmbH, Dezentrale Erzeugung, SW-DE is procuring a partial refurbishment of boiler 91 at the Koppstrasse heating plant, Rupert-Mayer-Strasse 43, 81379 Munich. The existing boiler, intended to remain in service for at least 15 years, must be refurbished so it can safely supply district heating from the 2027/2028 heating period. Works include creating access and assembly openings in the membrane walls, replacing the boiler floor membrane wall and finned tube, replacing the middle and rear walls including the inclined tension rear wall, installing two additional manholes into the furnace, and providing documentation and quality assurance evidence. Material and prefabrication lead times are estimated at 5 to 6 months. The works are to be carried out between May and July 2027.
