GeNo intends to replace its existing thin client PCs with devices that meet the requirements for running IGEL OS 12. The contract covers the supply of 2,100 thin clients (Dell Pro Micro Thin Client Q9M1260 or equivalent), delivered pre-installed with IGEL OS 12 or a successor version, with central management via the IGEL Universal Management Suite. The service includes on-site hardware exchange within 3 days and a minimum warranty of 36 months. IGEL licences are provided by the contracting authority so devices can be pre-installed at the factory. Delivery of all 2,100 devices is due within 6 weeks of contract award, expected in October 2026.
