Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Berlin Wall Foundation (Stiftung Berliner Mauer), which includes the Marienfelde Emergency Transit Camp Memorial (ENM), is planning a complete reconceptualisation of its permanent exhibition. The works cover the design, planning and implementation of a new inclusive permanent exhibition on 499.2 square metres, the interior design and object planning for a reception area of 75.6 square metres, and the interior design of a multifunctional, inclusive educational and interpretation landscape for historical and political education work. The memorial in Berlin commemorates a key site of German division and migration history, where about 1.4 million East German refugees arrived between 1953 and 1990, and now serves as transitional accommodation for refugees.
