Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Berlin Wall Foundation is seeking services for the complete redevelopment of the Marienfelde Emergency Reception Centre Memorial in Berlin. The contract covers the design and realisation of a new permanent exhibition on 499.2 square metres, the planning of interior architecture for a reception area of 75.6 square metres, and the creation of a multifunctional, inclusive learning and education landscape. The memorial commemorates the site that received around 1.4 million refugees from East Germany between 1953 and 1990 and later migrants from Eastern Europe, and the new permanent exhibition is to be inclusive in concept and design.
