Description

Im Rahmen des Projektes „Orbis Medication“ soll das Pflegepersonal am Klinikum in die Lage versetzt werden, Medikationsprozesse direkt im Patientenzimmer zu dokumentieren, um eine patientenfreundliche und prozesssichere Dokumentation zu ermöglichen. Hierzu ist ein gezielter Ausbau des Visitewagen-Portfolios geplant. Derzeit werden auf einigen Stationen einfache Visitewagen eingesetzt, die ausschließlich mit Laptop und Bildschirm ausgestattet sind und über keine Schubladen oder zusätzlichen Funktionselemente verfügen. Im Zuge der Einführung der neuen Medication-Software soll die Medikamentenvergabe, insbesondere im Bereich der Bedarfsmedikation, Salben und Augentropfen, effizienter, sicherer und besser dokumentierbar gestaltet werden. Zur Unterstützung dieser Prozesse ist die Anschaffung neuer Visitewagen vorgesehen, die über integrierte Schubladen sowie über erweiterbare Anbauten, wie z. B. Handschuhspender, Abfallsammler u.ä. verfügen. Diese Ausstattung ermöglicht es dem Pflege- und ärztlichen Personal, Bedarfsmedikation, Salben, Augentropfen und weitere Medikamente direkt auf der Visite mitzuführen und bei Bedarf sicher zu verabreichen und zu dokumentieren. Damit kann eine erhöhte Patientensicherheit durch strukturierte und nachvollziehbare Medikamentengabe erreicht werden. Außerdem kommt es zu einer verbesserten Organisation während der Visite durch geordneten Stauraum und unmittelbaren Zugriff auf benötigte Materialien. Durch abschließbare Schubladen kann ein erhöhter Schutz vor unbefugtem Zugriff erzielt werden.
