Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Chair of Sustainable Mobile Propulsion Systems at the Technical University of Munich intends to procure a hydrogen electrolysis system and a hydrogen fuel cell system for a research project. Both systems will be integrated into the chair's own island grid with a photovoltaic installation, battery and hydrogen storage to research operational strategies for the energy transition, focusing on the optimal generation and use of hydrogen. Both systems must be integrated into a common container with safety monitoring. The electrolyser stack must have an electrical connection power of at least 25 kW (BoL) and the fuel cell system an electrical rated continuous power of at least 10 kW (BoL). Both must use PEM technology, including water treatment, cooling, hydrogen treatment and standardised control interfaces.
