A regional network operator for electricity, heat, water and internet services is procuring the supply and installation of two 110 kV cable switchgear bays (bays E25 and E26) in air-insulated switchgear (AIS) technology at the Itzehoe-West substation in Germany, including the construction of an associated operation building. The works will connect new 110 kV cables with a transmission capacity of 213 MVA to the future Itzehoe-Northwest substation, meeting additional demand expected from 2029. Busbar extension, foundations and the mesh earthing network are not part of this tender. Preparation of detailed design drawings may optionally be awarded.
