Stadtwerke Steinburg, a regional utility providing electricity, heat, water and internet services, is procuring the manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning support of transformers for a new 110/20 kV substation called UW Itzehoe-Nordwest, to be built on a greenfield site in Itzehoe, Germany. The 110 kV switchgear will be an outdoor air-insulated design with a double busbar system and two transformers stepping down from 110 kV to 20 kV. Power will be fed from the nearby UW Itzehoe-West substation via about 2.3 km of 2,500/95 mm2 single-core aluminium cables. Detailed services are set out in the service description (Annex 2d).
