Stadtwerke Muenchen GmbH in Munich, Germany, intends to award a framework contract lasting four years for on-demand towing services in the network of Muenchner Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (MVG). The services cover towing of buses and bus trailers of various designs and drive technologies, including diesel and electric buses. Disabled vehicles must be moved at short notice from the route network to defined depots within the city of Munich, namely the Moosach and Ost bus depots. Additional services include removing and installing cardan shafts and stub axles as well as other technical measures needed to make vehicles transportable. Services are demand-driven, flexible and time-critical, also outside usual operating hours.
