Gegenstand des zu vergebenden Liefervertrags für "Monographien D-A-CH" ist die Lieferung von Monographien von Verlagen aus den Ursprungsländern Deutschland, Österreich und dem deutschsprachigen Teil der Schweiz (D-A-CH). In den Begriff "Monographien" eingeschlossen sind auch elektronische Informationsmedien (insbes. E-Book-Einzeltitel mit institutioneller Lizenz), Nicht-Buch-Materialien und Mikroformen. Zum Auftragsportfolio gehören ferner Fortsetzungsbestellungen ("Standing Orders") für mehrbändige Werke, Serien und Ergänzungslieferungen zu Loseblattausgaben. Des Weiteren umfasst das Auftragsportfolio auch die Lieferung von antiquarischen Exemplaren sowie in geringem Umfang die Besorgung von 'grauer Literatur'. Die Definition "preisgebundene" bzw. "nicht preisgebundene" Monographie gründet sich auf das Buchpreisbindungsgesetz in seiner aktuellen Fassung. Der Begriff "Verlag" schließt im Folgenden sowohl Verlage i.e.S. als auch Vereine, Verbände und andere Institutionen, Online-Buchhändler (z.B. Amazon), Grossisten, (moderne) Antiquariate sowie Provider von audiovisuellen und elektronischen Informationsmedien und Ähnliches ein. Die Laufzeit des Liefervertrages beginnt am 01.08.2026 und endet am 31.07.2028. Die Universitätsbibliothek Paderborn (UB) hat die Option, den Vertrag viermal um je ein weiteres Jahr zu verlängern.
