Das Klinikum Dortmund ist eines der größten Krankenhäuser in Nordrhein-Westfalen und versorgt mit rund 4.900 Mitarbeitenden, 25 Kliniken, 38 Zentren und 5 Instituten jährlich über 315.000 Patientinnen und Patienten. Als Maximalversorger verfügt das Klinikum Dortmund über 1.408 Planbetten und ist zudem Klinikum der Universität Witten/Herdecke. Alleiniger Träger des Klinikum Dortmunds, welches in der Klinikum Dortmund gGmbH organisiert ist, ist die Stadt Dortmund. Als Haus der Maximalversorgung bietet das Klinikum Dortmund Spitzenmedizin aller Fachrichtungen mit Ausnahme der Psychiatrie. Es verfügt über die beiden Standorte Nord und Mitte. Derzeit erbringt eine Reihe verschiedener externer Labore Analysen für das Klinikum Dortmund. Das Klinikum Dortmund beabsichtigt, diese Leistungen gebündelt an ein qualifiziertes, externes Labor zu übergeben, welches regelmäßige Abholungen des Probenmaterials garantiert, die Analyse vollständig, innerhalb möglichst kurzer Frist und in hoher Qualität erbringt und eine zuverlässige zeitnahe Befundübermittlung gewährleistet. Die Klinikum Dortmund gGmbH als ausschreibende Stelle (nachfolgend auch "Klinikum Dortmund") beabsichtigt, die benötigten Labordienstleistungen im Wege eines Verhandlungsverfahrens nach vorgeschaltetem Teilnahmewettbewerb an einen Auftragnehmer zu vergeben. Wesentliche Bestandteile des Auftrags sind die Abholung der Proben am Klinikzentrum Mitte des Klinikums Dortmund, die Bereitstellung von Probenmaterial bzw. die Leistung einer entsprechenden Kostenerstattung, die Analytik und Befunderstellung, die elektronische Übertragung der Befunde in das Krankenhausinformationssystem/Laborinformationssystem des Klinikums sowie die Bereitstellung über eine Web-Applikation und besondere Leistungen für Notfälle. Die mit dem Klinikum abgestimmte Erbringung von Stufendiagnostik ist ebenfalls Bestandteil des Auftrags. Gegenstand sind medizinische Laborleistungen aus den Kapiteln M III und M IV und ausgewählte Parameter des Kapitels M II der Gebührenordnung für Ärzte (GoÄ), die nicht in den klinikeigenen Laboratorien erbracht werden. Neben der analytischen Durchführung dieser Untersuchungen, die nicht in den klinikeigenen Laboratorien durchgeführt werden, ist eine kontinuierliche laborärztliche Beratung erforderlich.
